Impressions
Nestled in the breathtaking hills of Manali, our hotel offers a culinary experience that celebrates traditional Himachali cuisine while also catering to diverse palates. The dining facilities encompass a cozy multi-cuisine restaurant that combines stunning views of the surrounding mountains with a warm, inviting ambiance. I was thoroughly impressed by the focus on using locally-sourced ingredients, ensuring that each dish reflects the authentic flavors of the region. From fresh vegetables and herbs harvested from local farms to dairy products from nearby pastures, every meal supports the community and emphasizes sustainability, which is truly commendable.
One of the standout experiences during my stay was the opportunity to savor traditional Himachali dishes, such as Siddu and Chha Gosht, expertly prepared by the hotel’s talented chefs. The Siddu, a steamed bread stuffed with spiced fillings, was flaky and flavorful, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Himachal Pradesh. The Chha Gosht, a slow-cooked lamb curry marinated in yogurt and aromatic spices, melted in my mouth, offering an explosion of flavors. The restaurant also made sure to cater to dietary preferences, providing an array of vegetarian and vegan options, along with international dishes that kept the dining experience diverse and engaging.
To enhance the gastronomic tourism aspect of my stay, the hotel organized cooking classes, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the art of Himachali cooking. I enjoyed learning to make local favorites, which was a delightful and interactive way to connect with the culture. Additionally, the hotel’s well-curated wine and beverage selection complemented the meals perfectly, featuring local wines and craft beers that enhance the dining experience. Overall, the gastronomic offerings at the hotel not only delighted my taste buds but also enriched my understanding of the rich culinary traditions of Manali, making it a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts.
