Impressions
During my recent stay at the hotel in Shimla, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional dining facilities that cater to both local and international palates. The in-house restaurant offered a delightful gastronomic experience by showcasing a carefully curated menu that featured an array of traditional Himachali dishes, as well as popular Indian and global cuisines. The chefs expertly crafted each dish using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, ensuring that every bite was bursting with flavor. One standout dish was the Chana Madra, a garbanzo bean curry simmered with authentic spices, accompanied by soft rice that offered a comforting taste of the region. The ambiance of the restaurant, accentuated by elegant decor and panoramic views of the surrounding hills, created a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience.
The Bar/Lounge area provided the perfect setting to unwind after a long day of exploring the scenic beauty of Shimla. With a wide selection of beverages ranging from classic cocktails to exotic local wines, the bar catered to varied tastes. The mixologist skillfully concocted signature drinks that beautifully blended regional flavors with contemporary techniques, offering a unique tasting experience. I also appreciated the comfortable seating arrangements and the cozy ambiance, which made it an ideal spot for both intimate gatherings and casual hangouts. The emphasis on showcasing local ingredients in the drink menu, such as apple cider made from Shimla's renowned apples, added a distinct touch that made my evenings at the bar memorable. Overall, the dining facilities at the hotel reflect a commitment to gastronomic tourism, offering guests a chance to savor the rich culinary heritage of Shimla while enjoying modern comforts.
